GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring tripeptide found in human plasma, studied extensively for its role in wound healing, collagen synthesis, and tissue remodeling. Research has demonstrated its capacity to activate matrix metalloproteinases, upregulate antioxidant gene expression via Nrf2, and stimulate fibroblast proliferation in cellular and animal models.
